As trombonist and art director for funk outfit Porky’s Groove Machine, I am responsible for all posters, merch, music video direction, and any other visual representation of the group. This video was an exciting opportunity to write a story alongside a choreographer, plan shots and shooting schedule with our cinematographer, direct the entire affair on the night of shooting (in my apartment), and then edit the final piece together. This coordinated effort from the entire team was a great opportunity for me to practice the role of producer and director. Ultimately this video was received well by our nerdy fans and remains one of my proudest creative achievements.
