"Dimensional Energy makes low-cost fuels with sunlight and carbon emissions. Our goal: ubiquitous carbon neutral fuels and a zero-emissions economy by 2050. We help today’s industries embrace their externalities, consciously collaborating to transform waste carbon into fuel for the future."
I've been helping Dimensional Energy win grants, pursue corporate investment, and educate partners about how this fascinating technology works for 5 years. Born as the brainchild of the CEO, an ex-skateboard manufacturer and B-Corp guru, the company has grown to deploy its first field test reactors, employ eight researchers and technicians, and secure over $5 million in funding.
I've been working with Dimensional Energy longer than any other client. I'd say we've grown up together. Jason first approached me needing presentations for his early-stage investor pitches. As time went on we worked together on dozens of pitch decks, promotional and explanation animations, four major overhauls of the website, flyers, stickers, signage, and more!
Dimensional Energy has required a wide range of print materials including business cards, letterhead, executive summaries, flyers, signs, and truck-sized stickers.
I learned Google Sketch to build these 3D models of these arrays Dimensional Energy's engineers designed. I used Photoshop to give them some context. Although the design for the arrays themselves have since changed, this was a fun chance to learn some new skills.
Our most recent version of the website was a collaboration between their new Director of Marketing and I to write the copy and design the layout. I created all the illustrations for this site build, which then helped illustrate our other up-to-date print materials and presentations. The final build was done in Squarespace with some fancy Javascript features added by a developer I contracted.
This was the third iteration of an explainer animation I did. Though it's a bit out of date at this point, it's still fun to watch!
